Book Buddies Special Activity!

Last Friday, Ms. Kristie read the book Love Monster by Rachel Bright to Room 6 and Room 12 students.  Book Buddies then created their own Love Monsters!

Bridges This Week- Lifelong Teaching and Learning!

Hi Everyone,
Below are pictures of students and senior volunteers teaching and learning. Some of the things taught and learned  were how to golf, knit, use glasses and cups to make music, climb a door frame and draw (3-D shapes, Legos, trees). We also learned how to make slime, emoji, and paper airplanes as well as a volcano that erupts!

Schools Then and Now!

Below are pictures of our most recent Bridges class.  Students led senior volunteers on guided trips around Fox Hill.  When not on guided trips volunteers worked in the classroom to help students complete Group Name posters and Then and Now Venn Diagrams.

Lowell Mills Field Trip!

Below are some pictures from the trip. The class traced the immigrant experience through hands on activities that involved artifact scavenger hunts, taking a tour of the mill facility, participating in a town hall meeting and unpacking and exploring artifacts from many different cultures.  Enjoy!

Land's Sake Field Trip!
